Dynamic Warm Up Routine for Running
Updated: Feb 5, 2019
Its always important to prepare your body correctly for any run session.
I advise runners to do approx 5 min of very easy running followed by a series of simple dynamic exercises to get the body warmed and especially recruit the muscles you should be using to maintain good form throughout your run.
Whilst its a good idea to vary the dynamic exercises you do - to keep the body on its toes and to strengthen different muscles, this video provides a good set of exercises you could do to prepare yourself before the main part of any run session.
Look out for my other video on a great set of post run stretches to complete your workout and promote recovery.
